Offset scan is a CT imaging technique in which the axis of rotation is intentionally shifted away from the center of the detector. By acquiring data over a full 360-degree rotation, this method virtually extends the detector width and expands the Field of View (FOV). This enables the inspection of objects larger than the physical dimensions of the detector.
