The AK series consists of high-performance high-voltage power supplies delivering up to 120 kV and 6.4 kW in a standard 19-inch rack configuration. With a lineup of over 100 models, the series allows users to select the optimal specification for their application, balancing performance and cost efficiency.
Featuring low ripple noise and high stability, the AK series includes extensive remote control capabilities and comprehensive protection circuits, ensuring safe, reliable, and easy operation in demanding environments.

The AK series is an excellent choice for insulation breakdown and withstand voltage testing of electrical components—such as IGBTs and circuit breakers—used in next-generation power distribution and smart grid systems.

Floating Ground
Isolates the high-voltage return from the chassis ground (50 V max).
Note: When using this feature, all equipment connected to the remote control connector (TB1) must be at floating ground potential. (This option is not compatible with current flow measurement to the load or floating high-voltage power supplies.)

  1. In case selecting -LMs option with -LF option or -LW option, all AK series which connected as master/slave need to equip -LF option and -LW option.
  2. If you want the output shutdown at overcurrent in parallel connection, install the -LOc option only to the primary unit (available with other options) but not to boosters (available with different options). The shutdown operation at overcurrent is available only for the combination above. Note that the boosters (replicas) are not equipped with the -LOc option. When you use the boosters individually, the standard CC/CV mode specification is provided.

When ordering, please append the option codes to the model number in alphabetical order, followed by the input voltage and output cable length.

Optical Communication adapter

Optical isolation adapters, utilize fiber optic cables for digital communication, which enables extremely reliable communication even in noisy environments such as in factories and for long-distance control.
By using optical fibers, they are electrically isolated, so safe operation is possible even in power supply configurations with potential differences.
