Suited for radiography of powder, liquid, etc. on the rotation stage

The horizontal type unit is ideal for observation of samples that have difficulty in radiography and tomography.

The horizontal radiation unit is suitable for X-ray observation of liquid or powder samples on the rotation stage. The vertical type has difficulty in radiography of such samples. If a sample moves in tomography, the images will be unclear. The horizontal radiation system offers easy and precise imaging with an upright sample on the stage.

High-end model available for low-noise X-ray tomographs

The CT option provides advanced images with the artifact reduction function that is ideal for samples made of mixed materials with different X-ray vision levels.

Mixed materials with different X-ray vision levels, such as resin and metal, are unsuitable for tomography because conventional CT scan systems cannot obtain clear tomographs of such mixed samples. The precision μB4500 employs the dedicated software with the artifact reduction function never seen before in the benchtop models.

Tall sample inspection in a compact body

Tall samples can be taken in and out smoothly using a sliding door on the top.

With the dimensions 570 mm wide, 665 mm deep, and 625 mm high, the precision μB4500 offers a compact solution even for tall sample inspection. Regardless of the sample shape or location, you can install the X-ray inspection benchtop anywhere in small offices, space-constrained factories, and laboratories.

3-mega pixel camera as standard: optional 6-mega pixel camera

With the industry's highest level of resolution, a 3-megapixel flat panel detector (FPD) (*6-megapixel with option), the precision μB4500 offers high magnification for a wide observation area. A large sample image can be shot in one field. In addition, the product employs a dedicated high voltage power supply through Matsusada's exclusive technology in thermal design that provides high-definition and stable radiographs.

Benefits of horizontal radiation

The horizontal radiation system introduced radiography/tomography with the sample upright. It can ignore the effect of gravity, and the rotation axis is stable during the sample rotating operation, which is ideal for tomography.
