The AMPS series is a line of high-performance High Voltage Amplifiers offering an exceptional ultra-high-speed response with a slew rate of 1200 V/μs. This series includes models up to ±30 kV as well as high-current models capable of delivering a 4 A peak current at ±0.6 kV, accommodating a wide variety of load conditions. All models feature true four-quadrant operation (bipolar power supply), enabling both power sourcing and sinking. This makes them ideal for cutting-edge R&D applications requiring precise waveform output, such as ion beam and electron beam deflection in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and various material and dielectric strength tests. The series combines the high reliability synonymous with Matsusada Precision with a compact and sophisticated design for easy integration into laboratories and systems.

Ultra High Slew Rate 1200 V/μs
±10 kV and ±20 kV models have achieved a twofold increase in response speed, reaching a slew rate of 1200 V/μs. Laser modulation and beam deflection at unprecedented high speed are possible.
High-Speed Response of Frequency Bandwidth 100 kHz
The 100 kHz frequency bandwidth under actual load conditions resolves the common issue of a slowed response time in real-world operation.
Ideal for high-speed beam steering and advanced material evaluation testing.

For Measuring Voltage and Current
When the voltage at load is lower than the rated maximum output of AMPS series, constant voltage and high speed operation is possible by sinking the output current with current sink feature.
For example, in ceramic and electrophotography development, the current sink feature enables rapid discharge of capacitive loads and smooth de-electrification.
Peak current (1 ms) output is twice the rated DC current (see right figure, AMPS-10B40 and AMPS-20B20 are three times the rated current), the rise characteristics with capacitive loads can improve.

Adjustable current limit level *
The output does not turn off; instead, the current is limited, causing the output voltage to drop when the overcurrent level is reached. Using the potentiometer on the front panel, the limit current value can be adjusted in the range of 10% to 105% of the rating.

When using a cable 5 meters in length, phenomena such as reduced slew rate, slower response speed, or output waveform distortion are more likely to occur. Please use this configuration with caution. For details, please refer to "For capacitive load and discharge load".
