Micro-CT Scanners FAQs

Our systems are engineered for intuitive and safe operation, allowing users without prior knowledge of X-ray or CT technology to use them effectively. In fact, the majority of our customers are first-time CT users.

  1. Intuitive Interface and Integrated Safety Features

Our Micro-CT systems feature a user-friendly interface designed for easy operation. Basic scans can be performed by simply following the on-screen guidance. Additionally, the systems are equipped with robust safety measures, such as interlock mechanisms to prevent X-ray leakage, ensuring safe operation for all users.

  2. Comprehensive On-Site Training

Upon installation, our specialists visit your facility to provide hands-on operational training. We offer detailed instruction ranging from the basic principles of CT to system operation and data analysis. We provide step-by-step guidance to ensure operators are confident in performing measurements independently.

  3. Standard Inspection Workflow

Understanding the basic workflow is key to obtaining high-quality 3D images. This process is covered in detail during the initial training.

CT Scan (Acquiring 360° projection images of the sample)  ↓ CT Reconstruction (Generating a 3D dataset from the projection data)  ↓ 3D Visualization and Cross-Sectional Observation (Viewing the 3D model and internal slices)  ↓ Analysis (Dimensional measurement, defect analysis, etc.)

  4. Support for Advanced Optimization

While basic operation is intuitive, optimizing sample positioning and scan conditions (such as tube voltage and current) for specific applications may require experience. We provide in-depth support for these settings during installation training and offer ongoing technical assistance to help operators master these skills quickly. If you have specific measurement requirements, please contact us for a tailored solution.
