Our X-ray CT systems support a variety of industry-standard data formats, ensuring seamless integration with third-party analysis software, 3D printers, and CAD systems.
Primary Export Formats:
-
Cross-Sectional Image Data (TIFF, BMP, JPEG):
Exports 2D slice images from any plane within the CT volume. These are suitable for reports or further processing in image analysis tools. The TIFF format is recommended for quantitative analysis as it uses lossless compression.
-
3D Volume Data (RAW, DICOM):
Preserves complete 3D density information from the CT scan. DICOM is a standard format compatible with a wide range of medical and industrial analysis software. RAW data is available for specialized, in-depth processing.
-
3D Surface Data (STL):
Extracts the surface geometry of the scanned object as a polygon mesh. STL is the standard format for 3D printing and CAD software, enabling reverse engineering and rapid prototyping.
-
Video Data (AVI, WMV):
Generates video files of rotating 3D models or cross-sectional slice sequences. These are ideal for presentations and visualizing complex internal structures.
These versatile export options allow CT data to be easily incorporated into design, manufacturing, and quality assurance workflows.
