HIGH VOLTAGE BIPOLAR AMPLIFIER

High Voltage of 1000V, Fast Response of 10kHz

  • Voltage range: ±0.5kV, ±1kV
  • Current: 50 to 200mA
  • Frequency bandwidth:
DC to 10 kHz (at CC mode)
  • High-speed response

High Voltage/Fast Response Four-Quadrant Bipolar Amplifier

The DOC series is a high-voltage, four-quadrant bipolar amplifier offering output ranges of ±500 V and ±1000 V. Features include adjustable voltage and current limit settings to prevent excessive stress on your load. It will drastically reduce the risk of applying excessive stress on your load. Front-panel output terminals enhance operability.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • High-voltage output up to ±1000 V
  • Compact, High voltage, and High power
  • Four-quadrant output (Source and Sink are available.)
  • Selectable operation modes: Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC)
  • Universal AC input supported
  • High-speed response, 10 kHz
  • The DC bias function (DC offset voltage/current setting) is equipped.

Options

-LN

Automatic output recovery (previous: no power failure protection)
This option retains the output state when recovering from an input power interruption, such as an AC power switch ON/OFF or a power failure. Therefore, there is no need to reset the protection status by turning off the OUTPUT switch once.
Caution: If you turn on the power while the OUTPUT setting is ON, the output will be ON.

How to Order

When placing an order, please add the option code "-LN" after the model name.

Tech Notes

Capacitive Load

When a capacitive load is more than 100 pF (including a stray capacitance of the output wire), the resonance in the output may occur. In that case, install 100 Ω (at 0.1 μF) to 1000 Ω (at 1000 pF) of high-voltage resistance in the output in series. Please note that the frequency band is limited when using an amplifier with a capacitive load, as shown in the formula on the right.
In addition, when an amplifier is used for a corona discharge, a current higher than its rating will flow, and it will affect the amplifier badly. In this case, as well as when using an amplifier with a capacitive load, please install the output resistance and limit the current.

* Please avoid continuous input of the high-frequency signal, which reduces the output frequency of an amplifier. An amplifier will break because of an increase in internal loss.

This image explains frequency band when a capacitive load is connected.
