EGS series is an ultra-compact DC electronic load, just 35mm wide, designed to solve space constraints in environments like on-bench and automotive testing. This slim profile enables high-density mounting of up to 10 units in a standard 19-inch rack. Combined with a master-slave function for synchronized control of up to 16 units, you can build space-saving and efficient multi-channel test systems. Equipped with Constant Current (CC), Constant Resistance (CR), and Constant Voltage (CV) modes, it flexibly supports a wide range of applications, including DC/DC converter and battery evaluation. While a typical 19-inch rack might only accommodate about five older units, the EGS series' compact design allows for up to 10 units in less space.

The EGS series can be used as a multi-channel DC electronic load.

Functions
Digital Interface
This is Matsusada Precision's proprietary digital communication port. This interface has modular type IN and OUT ports to allow daisy-chain connection. Combined with an adapter (sold separately). Multiple power supplies can be controlled at once. Adapters for LAN, USB, RS-232C, RS-485, and GPIB are available so that you can choose a suitable communication interface.
The connection of master-slave control will be made between the same models.
Load-off Timer Function
As the load-off timer function is set through the front panel operation, This function allows you to monitor the elapsed time from load-on and to automatically turn the load off after a set period. Time can be set from 1 second to 999 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.

This option enables Constant Current (CC) + Constant Voltage (CV) mode and Undercurrent Protection (UCP).

Enable digital control via USB
One unit can be connected per USB port on the computer.
If the computer has an insufficient number of USB ports, a USB hub can be used.
However, correct operation cannot be guaranteed with all USB hubs (compatibility may vary depending on the USB hub).

Communication cable length modification
The -L(Mc0.15) option changes the CO-M cable attached to the product from 2.0 m to 0.15 m.
(Note: The -L(Mc0.15) option cannot be selected together with the -L (Mc0.5) option.)

How to Order
When placing an order, please add the option code(s) after the model name. If adding two or more options, omit the “-L” from the second and subsequent option codes, and list them in alphabetical order, with the cable length option placed at the end.

A digital interface adapter (sold separately) is required to use Matsusada Precision's digital interface. The following interface adapters are available, depending on your controller's port type.
