DC Electronic Loads
- Operational Voltage range:
1.5 Vdc to 150 Vdc - Load current: 30 A
- Load power:
150 W, 200 W - World wide input
Compact Design, High Power Performance
The EGD series consists of compact DC electronic loads ideal for battery testing, power supply and converter evaluation, and burn-in testing. Combined with Matsusada Precision's REK or RK series DC power supplies, the EGD series can be easily integrated into charge/discharge systems via LAN, USB, RS-232C, RS-485, or GPIB interfaces.
FEATURES
- Up to five units can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack (3U height). (150 W and 200 W models)
- Supports Constant Current (CC) and Constant Resistance (CR) operating modes.
- Universal AC input supports global voltage standards.
- Master/slave configuration allows simultaneous control of up to 16 units.
APPLICATIONS
- Load for switching power supply testing
- Load for DC power supply testing
- Load for DC/DC converter testing

Functions
EGD series is light and compact!
Achieves 200 W Maximum Load Power
Compact test environments require equally compact equipment. The EGD series is designed to maximize space efficiency without compromising performance, making it the ideal choice for testing small batteries and components. The unit can be operated as a standalone device via the front panel controls.
Weight: approx 3.6 kg
Multi-channel DC electronic load
The additional rack mount shelf (RMO-133H-EPR) can store up to five EGD series units. It is a multi-channel DC electronic load in a 19-inch rack. It can also contain a digital communications adapter. Note: It depends on the type of communication adapter. In addition, storage space is required for one EG series unit.
For the details of the adapter, refer to the datasheet of "RMO series".
| EGD series | ch No. |
|---|---|
| 5 units | 5 ch |
| 4 units | 4 ch |
| 3 units | 3 ch |
| 2 units | 2 ch |
| 1 units | 1 ch |
Digital interface
In addition to digital control via USB, LAN, RS-232C, RS-485, or GPIB collective control is enabled in the master/slave operation.
Master/Slave control
The operations of up to 16 EG devices can be controlled from the master unit. (Note: This function allows for synchronized control, not for increasing current capacity via parallel connection.)
