Piezo Driver with Built-in Sensor Amplifier
- High accuracy control of closed loop with built-in sensor amplifier
- High speed response
PIEZO DRIVER WITH AMPLIFIER FOR SENSOR
The PZJ-S series is a compact benchtop piezo driver designed for high-precision positioning. Featuring a built-in sensor amplifier, it enables closed-loop control to correct the hysteresis typical of piezoelectric elements. The driver supports high-speed operation with a peak current capacity three times the rated output, making it ideal for dynamic stage positioning applications. When combined with our strain gauge sensors, it easily enables precise micro-positioning systems.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- High-precision closed-loop control: Integrated sensor amplifier allows for accurate displacement control using strain gauges.
- High-speed response: Capable of supplying peak current up to three times the rated current for fast positioning.
- Hysteresis correction: Ensures linear movement and high accuracy.
- Dual modes: Operates in both closed-loop (displacement) and constant-voltage modes.
- Compact design: Lightweight benchtop unit suitable for space-constrained environments.

- Output Current for DC is 50% of rated current.
- Approximate value at 1μF load. Calculated from the peak output current (possible to output within 10 ms) (Tr = C, Vp-p/Ip)
If calculated Tr is exceeds the maximum time (10 ms) to output the peak current, to be calculated from Tr' = Tr x Ip/Imean.
