COMPACT, HIGH-SPEED PIEZO DRIVER
The PZJ series is a compact, benchtop piezo driver designed to amplify input waveforms for driving piezoelectric elements.
Available in single-channel and three-channel configurations, the series is ideal for multi-axis applications, such as X, Y, and Z-axis stage positioning, within a single unit.
Despite its compact size, the PZJ series delivers high power for high-speed response. It features a peak current capability of up to three times the rated current, enabling rapid displacement and precise positioning even during pulse driving. A DC bias function is included as standard, simplifying reference point setting. Combining ease of operation with high power density, the PZJ series is suitable for a wide range of applications, from R&D to industrial production lines.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- 3-Channel Configuration: Available in models supporting up to three channels for multi-axis piezo drive.
- High Peak Current: Capable of outputting peak current up to three times the rated current (≤ 10 ms).
- High-Speed Response: Drives a 1 µF load with a 1.3 kHz sine wave (at 100 Vp-p).
- DC Bias Function: Standard equipment for easy offset adjustment.
- High Stability: Low ripple and high stability performance.
- Closed-Loop Control: Supports closed-loop control using user-supplied strain gauge sensors (requires option).

- Output Current for DC is 50% of rated current.
- Approximate value at 1 µF load. Calculated from the peak output current (possible to output within 10 ms) (Tr = C, Vp-p/Ip)
If calculated Tr is exceeds the maximum time (10 ms) to output the peak current, to be calculated from Tr' = Tr, Ip/Imean.
