Aircraft Power Supply 400Hz

400 Hz AC (Alternating Current) power supply, a standard frequency for aerospace applications. While aircraft engines generate this 400 Hz power during flight, an external power source is required when the aircraft is on the ground with its engines off. These external sources, known as Ground Power Units (GPUs), provide the necessary 400 Hz AC power for ground operations and maintenance. This 400 Hz AC power is also essential for the development, manufacturing, and testing of avionics (the electronic systems used on aircraft).
