Rackmount DC power supplies are designed for installation in standard electronic equipment racks, offering a versatile solution for high-power applications. A key advantage of programmable switching rackmount supplies over linear types is their superior power density. This allows for significantly higher power output in a compact form factor without the excessive size and heat dissipation associated with linear power supplies.

Unlike compact benchtop models designed for portability, rackmount supplies are optimized for system integration and space efficiency within a rack. This design approach enables the use of robust components and thermal management systems, supporting a much wider and higher output range suitable for demanding industrial environments.

Benchtop Type (Switching type) | Matsusada Precision

Matsusada Precision offers eleven distinct series of reliable rackmount DC power supplies, with power ratings ranging from 750 W to 15 kW per unit. For higher power requirements, systems can be scaled up to 120 kW using master-slave parallel operation. This high-power capability makes them ideal for production lines, quality assurance testing, and research applications in universities and corporate laboratories.

Our rackmount power supplies support currents up to 6000 A and voltages up to 1.5 kV, available in both individual units and integrated rack systems. The lineup features advanced noise management, high-visibility displays, and improved operability. In addition to standard LAN and USB interfaces, models supporting industrial communication standards like LXI are available, facilitating remote control and seamless system integration. Safety is a priority, with comprehensive protection functions designed to ensure the safety of operators and connected equipment.
