Ultra-Low Noise Performance via Linear Regulator Topology

The R4GE series utilizes a linear regulator design to achieve high accuracy and ultra-low noise performance. Featuring a newly adopted high-resolution D/A and A/D converter, the series enables precise output setting and monitoring via its 4-digit display. Comprehensive protection features, including Overvoltage Protection (OVP) and Overcurrent Protection (OCP), are included as standard. These power supplies are ideal for a wide range of applications, from precision laboratory experiments to automated production lines.

Features and Benefits

4-Digit Display for High-Resolution Monitoring (R4GE)
Despite its compact size, the R4GE series features a 4-digit voltage and current display. This allows for precise output control with resolutions as fine as 0.1 mA and 1 mV.
Standard Protection Functions
Essential safety features, including Overvoltage Protection (OVP), Overcurrent Protection (OCP), and Key Lock functions, are standard on all models.
Ultra-Low Ripple and Fast Response
The linear regulator topology ensures high-speed transient response with ultra-low ripple and noise.
Silent Natural Convection Cooling (Models up to 108 W)
The fanless design ensures completely silent operation using natural convection cooling. This makes the series ideal for noise-sensitive applications, such as acoustic testing of fan motors, where background noise must be minimized. The fully enclosed case is also designed for safety, ensuring the heatsink is not exposed.

Operations

Examples of Operation and Connection

The output voltage or current of the R4GE and R3GE series can be scaled by connecting units of the same model in series or parallel.

Series Operation

Connection: Units can be connected in series to increase voltage.

Note: The total output voltage must not exceed 250 V. If the total voltage exceeds this limit, series operation is prohibited for safety isolation reasons. The maximum output current is limited to the rating of the unit with the lowest current capacity.

Series Operation

Parallel Operation

Connection: Units can be connected in parallel to increase current.

Note: Set all units to the same voltage value. The total output current is the sum of the currents of all connected units. To prevent damage, set the OVP level of all units to the maximum value.

Connection: Allows for positive (+) and negative (-) dual output configurations.
