In the X-ray non-destructive inspection equipment demonstration (demo) room, you can examine X-ray inspection system and meet with our technicians to discuss equipment. Demonstrations are available with the inspection object you bring. By operating the equipment yourself, you can experience the ease of operation, the ease of use of support functions such as the "Position memory function" and "custom Image processing filters," and the high quality of the captured images.

Demo rooms for X-ray non-destructive inspection systems are located in the X-ray Imaging Technology Laboratory in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, and in the Tokyo Sales Office (5-minute walk from Shinagawa Station).

What you can experience in our X-ray DEMO ROOM

X-ray imaging: You can check the X-ray image quality of your sample (specimen) in real time. You can also take X-ray image data home with you.

You operate an X-ray inspection system or CT scanner.: By operating and comparing several X-ray inspection systems yourself, you can select the model that is best for you.

Compare multiple X-ray machines.: If you require custom-made X-ray inspection system, our engineers can also be present to discuss this directly with you.

Meeting with our engineer: Direct meetings with X-ray equipment engineers are available. You can directly communicate technical questions and requests.

The X-ray Imaging Technology Laboratory in Shiga DEMO ROOM

is a research facility where our engineers work daily to improve the image quality of X-ray inspection systems and conduct research and development in response to customer requests. The laboratory is permanently equipped with state-of-the-art X-ray inspection system equipment. In addition, we open our "X-ray Imaging Technology Laboratory" to customers who are considering introducing our products, so that they can experience the performance of the latest model of X-ray inspection systems. We value customer feedback and use it to further improve our technology.

Online Demonstration

For customers who are unable to visit our demo room, we offer demonstrations via online meetings.
In addition to testing your samples, you can also share the operation screen of the instrument and remotely operate the application.
Online meetings will be held using "WebEX" provided by Cisco.

Due to time differences, some regions may not be able to accommodate your request. Available hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 Japan time.

Demonstration FAQs

Is there parking available? We plan to visit by car.: Customer parking is available at the Shiga Demonstration Room. Please come by car.
No parking is available at the Tokyo Demo Room. Please come by public transportation or use metered parking nearby.

Is it possible to have multiple models demonstrated?: Yes, it is possible. For currently available X-ray machines, please see "Products Available for Trial in the Demo Room for X-ray Inspection and Industrial CT Machines".

Can I bring in samples?: Yes, it is possible. Our staff can also take X-ray images of your samples in the appropriate settings.

Can I get X-ray image data of my sample?: Yes, it is possible. Please bring a storage medium such as a USB memory stick or CD-R, as we will copy the X-ray image data from the equipment.

Is it possible to operate the X-ray system in the demonstration room?: Yes, of course it is possible. Staff familiar with X-ray inspection system will instruct you on how to operate it, so you can use it with peace of mind.

Do I need to be qualified to operate X-ray inspection system equipment?: No, not required. Staff certified as "Operations chief of radiography with X-ray" and familiar with X-ray inspection system will guide you through the process.

How long does it take?: We expect the session to last from 2 to 3 hours. Please let us know the start time and preferred date and time at the time of booking.

Will there be a fee to use the demo room?: No, there is no cost. Please feel free to use this service.

How many people can use the room?: There is no limit to the number of visitors. Please let us know the number of guests at the time of reservation.
