Bidirectional DC Power Supplies with regenerative capability

The KP series is a bidirectional DC power supply designed with regenerative capability, making it optimal for evaluating in-car inverters for hybrid and electric vehicles, motors, generators, large capacity batteries, and capacitors. It is also suitable for wind or solar power generation applications. With a wide lineup ranging from 2 kW to 120 kW, you can select the ideal model for various stages of development and production.

* Designed for regenerated power to be consumed on the premises.

Use of KP Series

* This model is not designed for self-sustained (islanding) operation. Output stops when the grid power is disconnected.

Options

Enables the following remote control and monitor output:

External control of output voltage:
Controls output voltage with the external control voltage (Vcon-in) between 0 and 10 V.
External control of output current:
Controls output current with the external control voltage (Vcon-in) between 0 and 10 V.
Output voltage monitor:
0 to +10 V (±3%F.S), output impedance of 1kΩ
Output current monitor:
0 to +10 V (max. negative current to max. positive current) (±3%F.S), the output impedance of 1kΩ
Remote switch ON/OFF
(TTL of external relay)
