This notice provides an update regarding the issue involving the UL certification of resin materials manufactured by Kyocera Corporation, originally announced on February 1, 2021.

Certification Status and Testing
Following consultation with UL, we have confirmed that the UL certification for our products listed in the catalog remains valid. Additionally, we conducted internal reliability and electrical tests on products using these materials and confirmed that there is no impact on function or performance.

Kyocera Corporation has also reported that the material properties have been verified by a UL-designated third-party testing organization.

Safety Record and Future Actions
We have utilized these resin materials in our products for over 30 years. To date, we have received no reports of accidents, fires, or serious incidents attributed to these materials.

However, to ensure long-term reliability, we are currently evaluating alternative resin materials. We will provide further updates once the transition process is finalized.

Resumption of Shipments
Based on these findings, we are resuming shipments of products bearing the UL and CE marks.

The UL and CE marks on products currently in use by customers remain valid. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact our sales representatives.
