High-Voltage Power Supplies for "Flying Car" Research at Keio University

The Nozaki Laboratory at Keio University (Department of System Design Engineering) has adopted Matsusada Precision's HAR series (AU series)  high-voltage power supplies for their experimental research into ion wind propulsion.
The laboratory aims to develop a silent, high-speed "flying car" that operates without propellers by utilizing high-voltage phenomena. In this case study, the research team discusses the technical challenges of this innovative propulsion system and why they selected Matsusada Precision to meet their demanding voltage requirements.
