To minimize output ripple, use output cables that are as short and thick (large diameter) as possible. Shorter, thicker cables have lower impedance, which helps minimize external noise pickup and voltage drop.
Additionally, keep the power supply away from sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI), such as computers, mobile phones, and other electronic devices. Proximity to these sources can induce noise in the power supply and output cables, increasing the measured ripple.
For high-voltage applications, our CN series high-voltage cables are available in custom lengths to help optimize your setup.
