COMPACT AND HIGH POWER PROGRAMMABLE DC ELECTRONIC LOADS
EGD series is ideal for DC electronic loads for testing batteries, power supplies and power converters, aging test and so on.
They are able to build the charge and discharge system combined with our DC power supplies REK series or RK series with LAN, USB, RS-232C, RS-485, or GPIB interface.
FEATURES
- Five units can be placed into a 19 inches Rack of 3U size. (150 W and 200 W models)
- They are operable in two modes of Constant Current (CC) and Constant Resistance (CR).
- Worldwide input is applicable to any commercial electric power source in the world.
- Package control to 16 units is possible.

Functions
EGD series is light and compact!
Maximum load capacity 200W is realized
At the evaluation test of compact battery, which is not so much large, we also hope to place the load device compactly.
EGD series are just fitted the best electronic load for such a situation.
They can be utilized in Stand-Alone with operation on the front panel.
Weight: approx 3.6 kg

They can be utilized as DC electronic load of multi-channels
If the dedicated adapter (Sold separately) is used, a maximum of Five units of EGD series are placed in a rack of 19 inches and they can be utilized as a DC electronic load with multi-channel.

Digital interface
In addition to digital control via USB, LAN, RS-232C, RS-485, or GPIB collective control is enabled in the master/slave operation.
Adapters for connecting digital interface (sold separately)
To use the digital interface, you need to prepare a digital interface adapter separately. The following interface adapters are available according to the communication method of your controller port.
- CO-E32m: Adapter for LAN
- Total 16 units can be connected to one CO-E32m.
- LAN cable is not provided.

- CO-U32m: Adapter for USB
- Total 16 units can be connected to one CO-U32m.
- USB cable is not provided.

- CO-MET2-9: Adapter for RS-232C (9 pin)
- Total 16 units can be connected to each CO-MET2-9.

- CO-MET2-25: Adapter for RS-232C (25 pin)
- Total 16 units can be connected to each CO-MET2-25.

- CO-MET4-25: Adapter for RS-485 (25 pin)
- Total 16 units can be connected to each CO-MET4-25.

- CO-G32m: Adapter for GPIB
- Total 16 units can be connected to one CO-G32m.
- GPIB cable is not provided.


- (A) CO-M cable
- A two-meter cable is provided in each unit without an interface option. If you need a longer cable, please consult with our sales staff.
Master/Slave control
The operations of up to 16 EG devices can be controlled from the master unit. (Not for increasing current by parallel connection)
