NOTE

DRK series are not applicable to such application that electric power is infused externally or regeneration behavior is made.

Therefore they are not suitable for such devises that "returning generated electric power to AC line" or "being connected directly to the grid-connected power system". Please make AC output in combination with our high speed four-quadrant bipolar power supplies and such devices.

New Function Software calculated Remote sensing (at -LSn option)

It is possible to calculate differences between set value of output voltage and the voltage drop in the load end by resistance of output line and compensate for it. (Automatic Gain Control)

New Function Cut-off function to protect the load and Limiting function to withstand inrush current

There are various kinds of electrical devices that operate with AC voltage, and they may be required to stop immediately when abnormal current flows, or to continue to operate with some overcurrent. DRK series can set such behavior as necessary.

It stops AC output safely when abnormal current flows into the load.

DRK adjusts the output current within the rated range and keeps supplying AC output when the load such as a motor at which the current several times as large as the rated current flows during startup is connected.

Refined and Simplified Operability

As it is able to call up commonly-used functions or output settings immediately, work efficiency is increased. For the application utilized in the same settings, as the latest settings are memorized, it is able to eliminate troublesome re-settings.

In case that several test patterns are repeated (for example, 90 V to 100 V to 110 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz), testing time is shortened very much by using the memory function.

The universal outlet (universal power socket) on the front panel can be connected plugs of every country and output up to 250 V.

3-Phase Output

It is possible to test and evaluate 3-phase AC even where only single phase 200 Vac or 100 Vac is available

It is able to confirm operating conditions of equipment tested under such situation as simulating unstable aspect of power source line or aspect happened momentary power interruption.

-LGob: Optical Interface Board *1

With optical communication, isolation control is performed. As complete isolation is performed by means of optical fiber, this enables advance prevention of erroneous operation involved with transient phenomenon caused by surges, inductive lightning, external noise, etc.

  • -LGob(Fc5): Optical interface board + optical cable 5 meters
  • -LGob (Fc10): Optical interface board + optical cable 10 meters

Select the optional optical interface board (-LGob) when using this AC Power Source under the following conditions.
  • Noisy environment including factories (Example: Motors or coils are used near power supplies and loads).
  • Using with high voltage floating (more than 250 V).
  • Installation distance of 2 meters or more between this AC Power Source and a controller such as a computer, laptop, or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

It is able to increase output power by paralleling. It is able to hook maximum 3 slave units per one master unit in the optional formation. (for AC mode only)

When the combination is changed, adjustment in our factory is required.

-LN: Release of Blackout Protection

Output of the power supply is made ON/OFF interlocking AC input voltage.

-LPhu, -LPhv, -LPhw: Multi-Phase connection *3 *4 *5

3 phase output mode is available. Each one unit optioned respectively is required.

-LSn: Software calculated Remote sensing *2

-LUs1: USB interface Board *1

  1. These options should be selected either one.
  2. This option cannot be installed together with options for singe phase 3-wire connection (-L1p3wm, -L1p3ws) or options for (-LPhu, -LPhv, -LPhw).
  3. DRK4k is not available.
  4. (-L1p3wm or –L1p3ws), (-LPhu, -LPhv or -LPhw) and (-LMsm or -LMss), these options are should be selected either one. An option is required for each power supply.
  5. When interface options (-LUS1, -LGb and -LGob) is applied, only the master unit (-L1p3wm, -LPhu or -LMsm) should be optioned. No option is required on slave units.
